History:
The company was formed in 1994 as Alliance Datacom LP in Dallas, TX by two experienced Telecom and Datacom equipment salesmen. The company was a new equipment Value Added Reseller (VAR) and a reseller of used/refurbished legacy telecom equipment. Alliance Datacom was a sales partner for Nortel, Adtran and Motorola. Lucent was added when that manufacturer was divested from ATT in 1996. And then Cisco.
The current Managing Director of the company, Reggie Grant joined the company in latter 1998 to build the third leg of the business: the resale of IP Based Networking Hardware, both new and used/refurbished conditions. We arranged contractual relationships for the resale of 3Com networking hardware and Ascend Communications equipment.
Soon afterwards the Dot Com crash occurred, bringing in large amounts of this equipment along with large numbers of customers needing networking equipment at reduced prices due to lowered budgets.
In 2017, The company moved to Jacksonville, Florida changing it’s name to Alliance Networking while still owning all rights to Alliance Datacom. The company is owned by one of the original partners and maintains the service and dedication the business was built on.
